Public Works
Overview
The Public Works Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all city utilities (Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, Electrical services) as well as repair and maintenance of streets and public facilities. We also provide support for civic functions and special events and participate regularly in community enhancement projects and activities.
Administration
The Public Works Administration Division acts as an essential liaison between the public and City's field crew and other staff.
Leading our list of priorities is leadership and engineering services for the utilities, surveying and ROW acquisitions and a strong dedication to customer service accountability.
One of our other key duties is the coordination, review and regulation of development activities; this includes, project planning and design, permitting, inspection, and regulatory compliance assurance, among the numerous entities involved throughout the many stages in the life of a project.
