Overview

The Finance Department is managed by the finance director, and as the custodian of public funds, is responsible for:

  • Managing and safeguarding the city's financial resources
  • Developing and implementing the financial policies of the city and recording all city funds
  • Fiscal support and services to all city departments and programs
  • Ensuring that all economic affairs of the city are effectively managed in accordance with the Municipal code
  • Policy and state and federal statutes
