Community Vision and Plans

Overview

The Long Range Planning Division of our department works with the community to establish and implement the long-term vision and goals of the City of Blaine, consistent with the state Growth Management Act.

Guided by the Comprehensive Plan, the staff provides recommendations to Blaine’s Planning Commission and City Council at Public Hearings regarding adoption and changes to the Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Codes, Shoreline Rules, and other land use and conservation regulations.
