Make a Donation-Marine Park Playground

Poster Marine Park Playground Blaine
The City of Blaine and the Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Rec District 2 have partnered to build a premier destination waterfront playground in Marine Park.

The project is possible from a generous grant from the Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Recreation District #2, the Blaine Chamber of Commerce, and funding from the City of Blaine. Volunteers are looking to raise $92,000 to complete both the Ship and Lighthouse next spring. Thanks to generous donations already received, funding for the Ship is almost complete, but we can save valuable dollars by doing both the Ship and Lighthouse at once. The Lighthouse is also dependent on a pending grant application from the Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Rec District 2.

This project will bring families into downtown Blaine which is a win for our residents and a win for our local businesses. We would love to have your business or family recognized in supporting our community and our kids by making a tax-deductible donation to help fund this exciting community project.

Consider the Blaine Marine Park Playground for your 2014 year end, or 2015 charitable donations. Donations will be permanently recognized with your name engraved on a bronze plaque in the shape of a sea creature and mounted to the Pacific Northwest Sea Life Wall. Checks can be mailed to, or deposited with the City Cashier located at 435 Martin Street, Blaine, WA 89230. Just note “playground!” in the memo, or call (360)543-9979 for more information. Or go to
