Professional Accountability- Complaints Against Police Employees
The Blaine Police Department strives to maintain high levels of transparency and accountability. Since people generally only interact with police when there is some type of problem, contacts with police can often feel stressful and even unpleasant. However, if you feel your interaction with any police employee was unprofessional you have the right to file a complaint against that employee. Complaints may be filed anonymously if you wish, and while aform is provided, not all complaints must be filed in writing. Complaints may be filed in person, by phone, faxed, mailed, or emailed. All officers are required by policy to receive your complaint in a respectful and professional manner.
